Izzy Africa Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Izzy Africa's e-ticketing and event management platform ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), whether as:

  • An Attendee (purchasing tickets/attending events)
  • A Vendor (purchasing stands)
  • A Creator (organizing/hosting events)

2. Definitions

"Attendee": User purchasing tickets or attending events.

"Vendor": User purchasing stands for an event.

"Creator": User organizing events via the Platform.

"Content": Event listings, logos, descriptions, or media uploaded to the Platform.

3. Attendee Terms

A. Ticket Purchases

All sales are final unless otherwise stated by the Creator.

Refunds are at the Creator's discretion (clearly stated at checkout).

Reselling tickets for profit ("scalping") is prohibited.

B. Event Participation

Attendees must comply with event rules (e.g., age restrictions, dress codes).

Izzy Africa is not liable for:

  • Event cancellations by Creators.
  • Injuries or damages at events.

C. Prohibited Conduct

❌ Fraudulent purchases (e.g., stolen payment methods).

❌ Harassment of Creators/other attendees.

4. Vendor Terms

A. Stand Purchases

All sales are final unless otherwise stated by the Creator.

Refunds are at the Creator's discretion (clearly stated at checkout).

Reselling stands for profit ("scalping") is prohibited.

B. Event Participation

Vendors must comply with event rules (e.g., age restrictions, dress codes).

Izzy Africa is not liable for:

  • Event cancellations by Creators.
  • Injuries or damages at events.

❌ Harassment of Creators/vendors/other attendees.

5. Creator Terms

A. Event Listings

Creators must provide accurate event details (date, venue, pricing).

Izzy Africa may remove events that:

  • Violate laws (e.g., unlicensed alcohol sales).
  • Promote hate speech/discrimination.

B. Payouts & Fees

Payouts are processed within 7 business days post-event.

A service fee (disclosed at signup) applies to ticket sales.

C. Data Responsibility

Creators may access only necessary Attendee data (name, email for event access).

Selling/sharing Attendee data is grounds for immediate termination.

6. Platform Rules for All Users

A. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.

Notify us immediately of unauthorized access: support@izzy.africa.

B. Content Ownership

Creators retain ownership of their event Content.

By uploading Content, you grant Izzy Africa a non-exclusive license to display it on the Platform.

C. Prohibited Content

❌ Illegal activities (e.g., counterfeit tickets).

❌ Misleading event descriptions.

7. Payments & Fees

Payment processors (e.g., Paystack) handle transactions; Izzy Africa does not store card details.

Chargebacks may result in account suspension.

8. Termination

Izzy Africa may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violating these Terms.
  • Fraudulent activity.
  • Harming other users' experience.

9. Limitation of Liability

Izzy Africa is not liable for:

  • Internet outages or technical failures.
  • Creator no-shows or event quality.

Maximum liability = total fees paid to Izzy Africa in the past 6 months.

10. Dispute Resolution

Negotiation: Parties must attempt to resolve disputes informally.

Mediation/Arbitration: If unresolved, disputes will be settled under Nigeria law.

11. Changes to Terms

We'll notify users of updates via email or Platform notifications. Continued use = acceptance.
